The MARPOL 73/78 International Convention aims to regulate the sea pollution produced by the normal operations of ships during their navigation.

To carry out these tasks in La Esponja del Teide, we have modern facilities and various equipment, tankers and barges equipped with pumping systems that collect waste through its “universal connection to the ground”, allowing us to carry out these activities in all kinds of circumstances and with an agile, safe and comfortable operation for our clients.

La Esponja del Teide, authorized by the Spanish State, is a licensee for the provision of the basic port service to collect and manage Marpol waste. This authorization allows the collection of waste described in the Marpol annexes:

I: HYDROCARBON RESIDUES
IV: SEWAGE
VI: SOLID WASTE

WE OFFER AN EXPERIENCED SERVICE, WITH HIGH-QUALITY GARDEN TECHNICIANS WHO USE MACHINERY AND LATEST-GENERATION SYSTEMS

They deal with the conservation of public and private parks, sporting pavements of natural grass, historical and unique gardens, furniture and irrigation networks.

Our experience in garden maintenance and landscaping allows us to provide solutions to customers who need to outsource the complex tasks related to the creation and maintenance of landscaped areas.

The project management is comprehensive, from the previous analysis of the characteristics of the space or facilities, to the design, development, execution and maintenance of the green areas.

It offers the services of Hazardous Waste Management according to Authorization No. RP-006-IC, and Non-Hazardous Waste Management according to Authorization No. RNP-0327-IC granted by the Vice-Ministry of the Environment of the Government of the Canary Islands, to perform the operations of collection, transport and subsequent shipment to treatment, recovery or elimination plants.
